Job location: Hyderabad
Ability to:
- Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools
- Functional knowledge in FS: GL, AP, AR, AM (Fixed Asset Accounting), Billing, Time and Expenses, Projects, grants and Contracts modules. A plus would be knowledge in Expenses, Commitment Accounting, Purchasing, and Paybill. Knowledge in CRM would also be a plus.
- Provide functional expertise in advising clients relating to any of the FS modules listed
- Provide data setup and module implementation expertise in any of the FS modules listed
- Identify and resolve functional issues in client’s FS systems
- Complete functional steps included in the implementation and upgrade process such as data setup and verification.
- Develop functional specifications for customization and data conversion.
- Provide functional expertise to assist in customization reapplication related to upgrades and patch/fix application
- Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating functional / technical problems
- Ability to analyze SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Messaging
- Create PS Queries
- Execute SQL statements
- Have knowledge of PeopleSoft security
- Read, debug and update nVision
- Create project and test plans
- Work on all phases of a project – development, testing, production support, etc.
- Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with CMSC standards
- Produce business requirements and technical specification documentation for development requests
Required PeopleSoft Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years PeopleSoft experience
- Must have experience in multiple modules - GL, AP, AR, AM, Billing, Projects, Contracts, Grants
- PeopleSoft 8.0 or better experience
- Complete understanding of functional aspects of the application
